It’s all in the Joy

August 15th, 2010 VanessaBlog No comments

Do you remember when you were a kid and you use to be able to turn anything in to a game… into fun.

Remember how you use to put your hand out the window as your dad was driving along and you would let your hand float on the wind… fly like a bird.  That feeling of freedom of joy…

Remember when a game was still a game, not a competition… whether it was a golf game, a tennis game, a rugby game or a hockey game or even your job or a hobby you have?  Where has the joy gone?

It seems like suddenly everything in life has become so serious.  How can we put the joy back?  The joy in what we do… the joy in how we live… Why does everything need to be so serious?

I think it is time we remember how to play again. It is time we remember how to bring the joy back into our lives. We are always so concerned with what others might think… “Will they think I am being to childish or silly?”

So what?  At first you might get some reactions from the people around you that you are not use to, but the great thing is that joy and laughter is contagious. Why can’t you be the one that initiates that kind of chain reaction?

Start your day with a smile, with thoughts of joy… remind yourself what it feels like to have fun – to be a child again – with no inhibitions and no reservations.  That is when you will remember how to live life to the fullest.

Life is so short… no need to take it all so seriously.

Sometimes when it comes to your work, a job, then yes – seriousness is required for certain situations, but find every possible moment in life to have fun, because that moment will be here and then it is gone… never to be relived again.  Why be all serious when you could be having fun in stead?

Remember… winning or reaching that goal isn’t everything, it is the journey that gets you there that really matters.  Those moments that you can look back to and say – “I made a truly happy memory, something that I will always hold dear and that no one can take away from me”.

Start making your happy memories today… it is never too late, and it is up to you to make it happen!

With the Pizzazz Factor I show you how you can find the joy again in being YOU! The radiant, Self-confident and magnetic person that you are!

Kind regards

Vanessa Bader

P.S.  I was on the Golf course today, working on my husbands’ latest project with him… and I watched very serious golf players get the joy back in their golf game and to their surprise – not mine – it allowed them to play a much better game.  I think most things in life are like that.  If we can rekindle the joy, then we will be so much better at it…

Be so much more

Last night I was watching my all time favorite TV show again… “So you think you can Dance”. Being a dancer myself I really have so much respect for the talent on that show… dancers and choreographers alike.

There are so many exceptional performances every week and some very profound comments.  If you watch the show you will know what I mean… and you will probably hear me talk more about that in the near future because to me dance is such a great metaphor for life… and most certainly have a lot of similarities to your Pizzazz…

This had me thinking about the Pizzazz Factor.  Those dancers on that stage are being asked to do so much more than dancing. They need to be great technicians of course, but above and beyond that they need to tell a story, convey a message and do it with conviction and passion. They have to do it with strength and trust… Even when they are out of their element – dancing a style that they are not familiar with, they have to do it with ease and make it look like they are completely comfortable in that “role”.

This is expected from each and every performer on that stage. They need to so eloquently express themselves with their bodies through movement… without saying a word.

So You Think You Can Dance

So You Think You Can Dance

Your Pizzazz Factor is exactly like that.  You need to know basics, just like a dancer needs to know how to turn and leap and point their toes, but your Pizzazz Factor is so much more than that.

Knowing how to walk, stand, sit, talk and use your body language is not what is going to give you that magnetic presence and unmistakable radiance… it is so much more than that.  You need to convey your own story and do it with passion.  You need to believe in yourself… even when you are out of your element and you feel nervous or insecure, that is when your Pizzazz Factor pulls you through.

Once you have gone through my course… once you have practiced all the Pizzazz Factor principals the way I lay them out for you in the three DVD’s and the workbook… that is when you will also have that “extra special something” that will make you feel on top of the world.

Your new found confident self-image will radiate out to the world and you will also be a top performer. Whether it is in your role as a dynamic business owner, or as a teacher, a public speaker, a CEO or a wife and mother… or a performer, or even on a first date…

Whatever the situation and wherever you are; armed with your Pizzazz Factor you know you will always make a stunning first impression and they will still remember you long after you left the room!

Kind regards

P.S.  So be more than just a technician and embrace your Magnetic Presence with passion, poise and conviction!

The Postural Myth

February 18th, 2010 VanessaBlog No comments

Stuck up, stiff, rigid, Arrogant… this is what you fear when you hear the words “perfect posture”.

Not true! Let me set you straight on this one. Great posture is suppose to be fluid and adjustable.  Having desirable posture does not mean you are stuck in one stagnant position. It is an amazing way to make yourself stand out in a crowd and project magnetic energy.

Confident, friendly and approachable posture

Confident, friendly and approachable posture

You have to be able to move with and through good posture.  You need to be aware of your quality of movement and your grace. Good posture has unbelievable advantages. Any of the words mentioned above in the first paragraph are not part of the equation.

None of those words equal Pizzazz.

Pizzazz is about being magnetic, attractive, interesting and about having style and confidence. Now I am not talking about the way you apply your make-up or the way you style your hair. I am talking about the way you present yourself to others, the energy you project.

Being stuck up or rigid is a state of mind, not of body.  So make sure you are in the right state of mind and you have positive and friendly intensions, then your great posture will never look stiff or arrogant – unless that is the kind of person that you are.

With the Pizzazz Factor I show you how your great posture can make you that desirable, magnetic and charismatic person you have always wanted to be.  Good posture does not have to look stiff and impersonal.  As a matter of fact, quite the opposite is true.

Additionally, not only will you look great, you will also feel great.  Once your body is correctly aligned you will notice that you do not experience so much tension in your neck and shoulders, in your lower back maybe.  Even knee and ankle pain can be relieved by simply being mindful of the position your body is in.

So don’t make excuses, be mindful of your posture.  Be aware of how you carry your body through space.  Try it and see the results right away.  You have total control over how you present your body and your image!

Don’t be Stuck up – have Pizzazz!

Kind Regards

Create lasting first impressions

January 27th, 2010 VanessaBlog No comments

We often forget how important first impressions are. People judge us immediately based on what they see.

How do you make a great first impression before you even open your mouth to speak?

Confident posture

Confident posture

The first thing people see when they look at you is the way you carry yourself – your posture. Simply being self aware of your posture can make all the difference in the world.

For instance – if you walk into a room with your shoulders hunched over and your head hanging, you may appear insecure, unfriendly and un-ambitious. Even if that is not the case, that is how you might be perceived.

My point is that your posture is the key to communicating your image.  A posture that
is too stiff communicates an uptight demeanor, while a posture that is too loose communicates sloppiness and carelessness.

A hunched over back and neck that is too far forward shows a lack of confidence.  With the Pizzazz Factor you will learn the best way to carry yourself so you come across as confident, cool and in control.  You will learn how to be approachable and likable – how to leave a lasting, positive impression.

Remember – posture is one of the first things people look at.  People do make judgments based on your posture.  So get the Pizzazz Factor and never feel insecure or self-conscious again.

Kind Regards

Vanessa Bader

P.S. By simply improving your posture and your body language you can create a powerful presence and make great first impressions that will linger in their minds long after!
